Built in India.
For every Indian.
We are a husband-and-wife team from Kolkata who got tired of paying for something that should be free — and decided to build it ourselves.
A frustrating afternoon at the passport office
It started the way most real ideas do — with a problem we ran into ourselves. When we were getting our passports done, we needed a simple 2×2 inch photo with a plain white background. Sounds straightforward, right?
"We searched online for a free tool to fix our photo. Every good one wanted us to pay, create an account, or download an app just to crop a picture. The free ones were cluttered with ads, added watermarks, or simply did not work on mobile. We thought — someone should build a simple, honest version of this for people in India. So we built it ourselves."
Neither of us had a formal background in software development — we are entirely self-taught. What we had was time, determination, and a genuine desire to make something useful for people across India who face the same struggle every time they need a passport photo, an Aadhaar update, a PAN card application, or a government exam form.
We started with just one tool — a basic passport photo maker. Over time, we added an image compressor, a resizer, a converter, a country-specific photo guide, and an exam photo generator tailored specifically for Indian competitive exams like UPSC, SSC, IBPS, and Railway recruitments.
A husband and wife from Kolkata
We are Md. Shaquib and Shagufta Aziz, based in Kolkata, West Bengal. We are not a tech company, a startup, or a funded business. We are just two people who wanted to build something genuinely helpful — and kept going because we saw it was actually making a difference for real people.
Simple tools should be free and honest
There is a basic unfairness in how most photo tools work online — they are either paid, or technically free but buried under pop-ups, watermarks, and tricks that make them practically unusable. We wanted to build something different.
We are still learning — and improving
We update this site regularly based on real user feedback and changes in official photo requirements across India. If you find an error, have a suggestion, or just want to say hello — we genuinely read every message.
